PBAC’S NEW VP FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENTS

We are pleased to announce that Ian Philippe W. Cuyegkeng has joined PBAC as Vice President of Business Development and Investments. Ian will be overseeing the performance of our Sales and Marketing group, our network of branches, and pool of agents.  He will have the concurrent responsibility of managing PBAC’s investment portfolio.

Ian’s work experience spans multiple functions in the fresh produce exporting and distribution business.  He worked in Sumifru Corporation, an integrated fresh produce company engaged in the production, shipment, and distribution of cavendish bananas, pineapples, and other fresh produce in the Asia Pacific region.  In Sumifru, Ian’s experience included roles in Supply Chain, Operations, Allocations, Risk Management, and Corporate Strategy.  He was overseeing Sumifru’s New Zealand business for a part of his tenure in Sumifru.  Prior to his experience in Sumifru, Ian was working in JG Summit Holdings with roles in Corporate Planning and Marketing, including a one-year assignment in Universal Robina’s China operation.

Ian completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University.  He also holds an MBA degree in Business Administration from IMD International, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
